It’s our pleasure to announce that the first International Symposium of Neurovascular Surgery will be held at the Charité Hospital in Berlin on Sunday May 25th and Monday May 26th, 2008. We look forward to welcome you in the exciting city Berlin!

The two-day symposium will highlight topics in Neurovascular Surgery by colleagues from around the world with extensive research experience and expertise in flow measurement & imaging, revascularization of patients with ischemia, Interdisciplinary concepts in the treatments of AVM, endovascular coiling or clipping for aneurysm treatment and cerebral revascularization.

The invited speakers include: S. Amin-Hanjani, N. Assaad, A. Berenstein, F. Charbel, J. Hernesniemi, P. Horn, A. Krisht, D. Langer, J. Moret, N. Niemelä, L. Regli, P. Schmiedek, M. Svensson, C. Tulleken, M. Tymianski, B. Welch and A. van der Zwan.

On Tuesday May 27th there will be a Satellite ELANA User Meeting. This meeting is only open by invitation, for surgeons who clinically practice the ELANA technique.
